Safety experts agree the single most important step toward ensuring your personal safety is making the conscious decision to Refuse To Be A Victim®. You stand a much better chance of preventing criminal attack if you develop a safety plan before you need it. That is why the Refuse To Be A Victim® crime prevention seminar was developed.


The seminar teaches easy‑to‑understand methods you can use to increase awareness and prevent criminal confrontation. In just four hours, you will get the tools you need to develop your own personal safety strategy, including a course handbook and additional materials.


Course Goal: To familiarize the student with the planning needed increase awareness and to reduce one’s vulnerability to criminal victimization.”


Lessons:

     · The psychology of the criminal mind

     · Home & phone security

     · Automobile & travel security

     · Personal & technological security

     · Self-defense devices and training options

     · Review and questions.


This course will consist of about 4 hours of classroom material and in-class activities.  


Prerequisites: None.


Cost: $20.00


Included: 

  • Students will receive NRA certificate of attendance upon completion of the course.
  • Students will receive NRA’s booklet, “Refuse To Be A Victim Student Handbook” ($8 value)


Customer Responsibility/Gear:

  • Complete Liability Waiver prior to the start of class


Group Rates: There are Group rates available for this class. 4+ students: $15.00 To be eligible for the group rate you must call or stop in and schedule your class. Payment of 50% is required at time of scheduling with the balance due one week prior to scheduled class.
